This shot was the result of being at the right place at the right time. The lights had just turned on as the sun was setting as I walked by. A good reason to always have your camera close at hand.

Pitchers and catchers may be enjoying the weather but those of us in Wisconsin still have a way to go until Spring. Photo is my nephew sledding in Washington Park in Milwaukee. If you look closely you can see me, my niece and my other nephew.

That's right baseball fans, baseball is back. The idea just makes the soul feel a little warmer. The photo is Cincinnati's Bronson Arroyo in mid pitch at Miller park.

Not to be out done, here is a photo of Puja our sweet girl dog and mojo's partner in crime. If you look closely you can see Mojo's paw underneath the chair.

I am amazed how these wilting petals manage to create an entirely new and beautiful shape.

Do Flowers Long to Fly?

I really like the way the leaves contrast with the sky and the clouds seem to mimic the flower.

It's alive

After capturing this image I could not help but be reminded of the sparking machines in Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory. It is actually a lamppost globe found outside Milwaukee's performing arts center.

I took this photo while camping in Madison,WI. i love the contast of the soft burstof white against the gray of the rock. I also like how the shadow creeps into the shot.

I thought the softness of the flowers would be a nice contrast to yesterday's post.

X marks the spot

This shot continues with the theme of reflections in stainless steel. The surface is not quite the mirror the bean is but you can clearly make out the Milwaukee city hall reflected in the surface.

Magic Bean

Perhaps this great sculpture located in Chicago's Grant Park was the reason Jack sold his cow. As you can see from the image it is highly reflective allowing a nice shot of Michigan Avenue in its surface.
