It's alive

After capturing this image I could not help but be reminded of the sparking machines in Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory. It is actually a lamppost globe found outside Milwaukee's performing arts center.

a flower and its shadow

I took this photo while camping in Madison,WI. i love the contast of the soft burstof white against the gray of the rock. I also like how the shadow creeps into the shot.

Wallflowers

I thought the softness of the flowers would be a nice contrast to yesterday's post.

X marks the spot

This shot continues with the theme of reflections in stainless steel. The surface is not quite the mirror the bean is but you can clearly make out the Milwaukee city hall reflected in the surface.

Magic Bean

Perhaps this great sculpture located in Chicago's Grant Park was the reason Jack sold his cow. As you can see from the image it is highly reflective allowing a nice shot of Michigan Avenue in its surface.
